Susan Hastings

Susan grew up in a military family and moved a lot within the southeast United States; she even lived in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. She calls Pensacola, Florida her hometown; however, she’s lived in Colorado since 2003…longer than she’s ever lived in any one location!

Susan graduated from the University of West Florida with a degree in Environmental Science, then moved to Denver to continue her career as an Environmental Consultant. After she had children, she made the transition out of the corporate world to stay home with the kiddos. Susan then began to volunteer her time with the school district, Boy Scouts of America, and anything else her kids got into.

As an Environmental Consultant, Susan’s clients were home builders and she learned the value of research. During that time, she found that she thoroughly enjoyed the ‘hunt’ for information, and knew she eventually wanted to be involved in real estate. Susan has now come full circle with that realization and has been enjoying everything it has to offer!

Susan is a people-person and loves socializing and learning about others. Susan is constantly moving; she is always organizing and planning for something! She loves the result of hard work, but really loves the journey to get there! Her hobbies are traveling (especially road trips and the beach!), camping, paddleboarding, running, CrossFit, and anything that gets her outside for adventures. She’s been lucky enough to experience some of the best camping in the country and the best hiking in the world! Susan took on the adventure of a 3 week trip in Nepal that included trekking 100+ miles to Everest Base Camp. She’s also participated in an adventure race in Costa Rica and Scouting high-adventure trips sailing in the Florida Keys and canoeing in the swamps of Louisiana.
