Susan grew up in a military family and moved a lot within the southeast United States; even lived in Guantanamo, Cuba. She calls Pensacola, Florida her hometown. However, she’s lived in Colorado since 2003…longer than she’s ever lived in any one location!
Susan graduated from the University of West Florida with a degree in Environmental Science. After she met her (now) husband, they moved to Denver to continue her career as an Environmental Consultant. When they had children, Susan decided to transition out of the corporate world to stay home with them. She began to volunteer her time with the school district and Boy Scouts of America (BSA). Her son and daughter are both in BSA troops and Susan is currently an Assistant Scoutmaster with each troop.
As an Environmental Consultant, she worked for home builders and learned the value of research. She found that she thoroughly enjoys the “hunt” for information, and knew she eventually wanted to be involved in real estate. Her son and daughter are now teenagers, and she realized it was finally time to get her real estate broker’s license.
She’s a people person and loves socializing and learning about others. She’s always moving, organizing, and planning. She loves the result of hard work but loves the journey! Her hobbies are traveling (she loves road trips and the beach!), camping, paddleboarding, running, CrossFit, and anything that gets her outside for adventures. One of her favorite things is to watch the sunrise. She loves the start of each new day!
